This presentation will cover the commonly encountered skin neoplasm affecting the distal antebrachium in dogs and cats.  A surgeon's perspective on treatment options and treatment algorithm will be discussed focusing on soft tissue sarcoma and mast cell tumour.

Dr Kyle Song, BVSc MANZCVS (Surgery)

Kyle graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012 and worked in a busy small animal practice in the lower Blue Mountains region for 2.5 years.

Kyle always had keen interest in small animal surgery and during his time working as a general practitioner he had realised his desire to pursue further training in this field.

Kyle took up the incredible opportunity offered by ARH to be a surgical intern and completed a one-year internship at ARH in May 2016. This was followed by a three-year small animal surgery residency at ARH which Kyle completed in 2019.

Kyle enjoys all aspects of surgery and is currently working towards his goal of becoming a small animal specialist surgeon.
